Happy Saturday friends! Today’s Saturday morning coffee talk is coming in a little late due to a freaky morning experience where all of the fire alarms in the house went off and completely freaked us out! Thankfully all is fine, and nothing was actually on fire. I guess it was just construction dust burning off the furnace when we switched over to heat this morning, but it gave us all a scare.
On to less alarming news, grab a cup and let’s chat!
Sherpa……the Fabric of My Fall and Winter Life
I bought this coat last winter, and it made me a believer. Do you have any sherpa in your closet? I’m kind of obsessed. It’s like wearing a blanket as clothes, and I’m one hundred percent down for it during the colder months. I picked up this leopard sherpa pullover (seen above) at Target last week, and I’ve been living in it. I couldn’t find it online, but they had plenty of them in the store. It’s by the Grayson Threads line, and it comes in a few other patterns.
This camo cowl neck pullover and this leapard half zip are also adorable.
The Counter Stools and Dining Chairs Arrived!
And they’re better in person than they looked online! These stools are showstoppers!

And the black oak on these dining chairs is stunning!

I’m really glad I opted to go traditional rather than modern because I think the clean lines of the burl wood dining table are modern enough.
Did you know Beautycounter offers a FREE gift with purchase every month?
Most of you know I’m a Beautycounter consultant and the self-proclaimed Chief of The Safer Beauty Tribe. Beautycounter is by far my favorite clean skincare and cosmetics company which is why I became a consultant. Many people are unaware that BC offers a membership program that is unlike any other beauty membership out there. With this $29 year long membership there are no monthly purchase requirements or auto-ship subscriptions.
This is purely a membership benefits program.

Earning 10% back on every purchase is definitely a great reason to join, but the welcome gift is also a super great incentive! Especially this month because the welcome gift for the month of November is the ever-popular, skincare game changer ~ The Overnight Resurfacing Peel! (This is a $63 value!!!!)

If you’ve been wanting to make the switch to toxic free beauty products but aren’t sure where to start, take a minute to fill out my free skincare consultation quiz, and I’ll get you all hooked up! I pride myself on being able to help people switch to safer products without busting their budget!
A Dynamite Halloween and a New Phase on the Horizon
Apparently the number of times I’ve told my daughter to make herself a dang quesadilla have left an impression because she decided she wanted to dress up as Napoleon Dynamite for Halloween this year. One of her best friends dressed as Pedro, and my husband and I played along dressing as Kip and Lafawnduh. If you’ve never seen the movie Napoleon Dynamite you’ll have no idea what this is all about, but if you have, you get it. And you’re welcome for making you spit your coffee out. 😉

Our 15 year old decided he was too old to dress up and go trick-or-treating this year, and with that it feels like we’re entering a new phase of parenting and of life. And it’s a little bittersweet, just another sign that our babies are almost grown.
Another sign to stop and slow down and enjoy each day!
Okay, your turn -> Did you dress up for Halloween? What are you living in right now? Tell me about your week!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend friends!
