Time is flying, and I can’t believe it’s already week 3 of the New Year New Room Refresh Challenge! I still have so much to do in my laundry room!
But I am starting to see the light at the end of this design challenge tunnel, and that is definitely motivating me to keep moving forward. Today I don’t have any finished projects to share, but here is a little peek at what I’ve been working on and what’s to come!
When last I left you I had finished installing the William Morris Peel and Stick Wallpaper from Spoonflower and added a chair rail to the space. Then I lost a whole week due to paint color paralysis (something I’m sure my fellow enneagram type 9’s can relate to 😉 ) as I tried to decide between two totally different looks.
But I finally made a decision and got to work painting (and I’m almost done!)! But I won’t be sharing what color I chose until reveal day on Tuesday, February 4th! I’m such a tease. Ha! Any guesses what color I chose?
Besides painting, I also built and installed a floating shelf above the washer and dryer. And I’ll be sharing a full tutorial in the coming weeks. For now here’s a couple of cropped photos of the unpainted shelf. It sits just above the machines and hides the washing machine connections perfectly. Can’t wait to show you how easy this shelf was to build!
Last but not least, the chandeliers from Sazerac Stitches arrived this past weekend! And they are even better looking in person! I can’t wait to install these gorgeous chandeliers. They look incredible with the wallpaper! I’m so in love!
Just two more weeks ’til reveal day! Here’s to hoping I can get it all it done by then!
