Oops, I did it again. 😉 Say hello to more grasscloth! I used some leftover grasscloth to line the back of my living room bookshelves, and I’m so in love!

The texture is so yummy!

This was such simple DIY, too! I applied wallpaper primer first, then measured, cut and pasted the paper. Took just a few hours, and I’m so happy with this new look!
I considered taping or using some other type of temporary/removable application, but the paper is so thick. It wouldn’t cooperate. So while I could have cut some cardboard to fit and pasted the paper to it, I just decided to marry the paper. I’m not afraid to commit to grasscloth. 😉
Some of you might remember, I added a lighter, natural-colored grasscloth to the back of the bookcases in our last home, too. My grasscloth love runs deep, y’all. 😉

I love the way this balances the grasscloth in the hallway. And now the fireplace feels more like a highlight as now it pops out a bit more on this wall.

And did you notice my newest Facebook Marketplace find?! This old piano is already seeing lots of use, and I think I’ve finally nailed down a plan for some artwork on this wall.

You were so right about the grass cloth on the bookshelves. Darker is better!
PS I got off Instagram, so I’ll keep up here! You always do great work.
