My living room Christmas decor is super simple this year. Truth be told, I’m becoming more of a minimalist as I get older….at least as it pertains to holiday decorating. I actually purged and donated a lot of my decor this year. For me, the goal is to create a festive vibe in our home with as little extra stuff around as possible. Welcome to my 2020 Christmas Home Tour!

I love using fresh elements because they don’t need to be stored after the season ;), but I just can’t quit my bottle brush trees. I love them so!

My husband made this little paper Santa collage when he was eight, and it’s my favorite Christmas decoration. It makes me smile every year when I pull it out of the storage bin. This year, I put it in a lucite frame, and I can’t love it more!

Our tree is color-blocked this year. And I’m digging this fun, fresh look. (And that peek of the grasscloth ceiling in the dining room makes me so happy!)

It’s filled with all our collected family ornaments and some colorful balls to drive home the color-blocked theme.

I added just a few simple touches to the kitchen and called my Christmas decorating done! I mean, it doesn’t get simpler than a bowl of mercury glass balls.

The beauty of a less is more holiday style is the clean-up is so easy! Is it wrong that I even think about that before I start decking the halls? Ha!
Love it! Can you tell me more about the chair with the reserved pillow in it? Also, the stool in front of the chair. Thanks
