Can you even?!

I just cleaned her up and used this incredible adhesive-backed vinyl paper that looks just like my favorite kind of wood – burl wood. This was the absolute easiest, quickest project, and it cost me less than $15!

You literally just peel and stick the paper into place. This is why I didn’t bother with a step-by-step tutorial. You don’t need one. It’s basically a giant sticker that is easily repositionable. But you can watch this reel I shared on Instagram for a quick look at the super simple process.

My favorite part, besides how good it looks, is that the seams aren’t noticeable at all!

For this curio cabinet, I had originally planned to use leftover wallpaper from my closet desk nook makeover. But after I used this burl contact paper to cover the desktop in the nook and fell head over heels in love with the results, I changed my mind and decided to use the burl wood contact paper.

I covered the desktop over a month ago, and it’s held up really great! No peeling up on the edges at all.

And I just love this rich mix. The color of the faux burl blends so well with the metallic gold paper yet adds a subtle difference. It’s like the two were made for each other!

Contrary to the way these images look here, I use this desk daily as this is my home office area. And this burl wood contact paper has held up great!

I’m beyond impressed! I wasn’t expecting much when I stumbled across this burl wood contact paper on Amazon, but I figured for $15 a roll it was worth a try. And it’s a real winner, in my opinion! Such a great way to get a chic, designer look on a budget.
