I’ve been on the hunt for a lucite console table for our dining room for years. I was really hoping to score something vintage, like the coffee table and side table in my living room. But in the three years that we’ve called this house home, I’ve yet to find anything with the right dimensions. So I decided to start looking at buying something new, and I fell head over heels in love with this Jonathon Adler beauty!
But the over two thousand dollar price tag was more than I wanted to spend on a console table. So I continued to scour the interwebs. And lo and behold, I found a lookalike lucite and glass console table for a fraction of the price! I mean, it looks pretty much exactly the same! The only difference is this table is 3 inches shorter and 1 inch deeper, but other than slightly different dimensions, I can’t tell a difference between the two tables. The quality of this lookalike is so great, and it was an absolute breeze to put together! Took me maybe 15 minutes tops.
It fits our dining room so perfectly! And I just love the campaign-style detailing.
I specifically wanted lucite so that the table would add interest and functionality without adding to the visual weight of the room. I really love the way it virtually disappears behind the dining table.
I can’t wait to style her! I’m definitely planning to bring in some lamps!
