Christmas Home Tour 2023

While I typically like to decorate my screen porch for Christmas before Thanksgiving, I don’t usually deck the rest of the halls in my home until I’ve had my fill of pumpkin pie. 😉 Welcome to my Christmas home, where if we’re not watching a Christmas movie, we’re listening to Christmas music, and of course, we’re doing it all in our Christmas jammies.

We’ve had these velvet stockings since my children were just babes, and I still love them so much!

This is the first time I’ve ever dried orange slices to use in my holiday decor, and I can guarantee it won’t be my last. They are so charming!

So much of my holiday decor is years old, handmade, or thrifted, but this gold Christmas banner was too sweet to leave in the store. It jumped into my cart, and I was happy to bring it home.

Speaking of thrifted decor, my needlepoint pillows are my prized possessions. Vintage Christmas decor is just the best!

The only thing that beats vintage decor is decor made by little hands. Can I get an Amen?! The yellow “ornaments” on those sweet Christmas tree ornaments are my babies’ tiny fingerprints! Every year when we add them to the tree I could just cry! Time flies. Those babies are 17 and 19 this year. Crazy!

Our tree is filled with a collection of ornaments, some handmade and some that mark memorable occasions.

One thing I truly love about our open-concept home is that I can see the tree from practically every room in the house!

I didn’t do much in our kitchen or dining room this year. Just added some poinsettias and called it good. However, I did add some garland over the window in our pantry. I fell head over heels for this miniature Christmas village and knew it would be perfect on the window ledge in here!

I’ve been lighting my snow globe candle every night with a match from this ceramic house vase I turned into a match holder. I just love this time of year!
