Spoonflower is one my favorite design resources! The patterns and options are endless! They offer everything from fabric and wallpaper to cocktail napkins and curtain panels, and you can customize both the color and scale of most patterns. But because their selection is so vast finding what you want can be a little daunting. At least this is the feedback I’ve heard from many of you. So today I’m sharing my personal favorite Spoonflower designers, as well as a few tips to make navigating the site a little easier.

Peacoquette
I’m a huge fan of William Morris prints, and Peacoquette offers a nice variety of patterns created from antique remnants. Most of her patterns have a vintage, old world vibe.

Pimpernel is the pattern I selected for the duvet cover in my master bedroom. And Wild Tulip is what I used for both the peel ‘n stick wallpaper and memo board in my my laundry room.

Danika Herrick
Danika’s designs offer a fresh take on traditional patterns. Her chinoiserie patterns are my favorite!

Domesticate
IF you’re looking for tribal or geometric patterns, Domesticate offers a great selection. She also offers a couple of really beautiful hand painted chinoiserie patterns as well

Designs by Patricia Braune
Designs by Patricia Braune are little bit art nouveau and a little bit coastal.

Holli Zollinger
Holli offers some beautiful bohemian florals, tribal and geometric patterns.

Julia Schumacher
Julia creates the most beautiful abstract patterns, and she offers one of my favorite palm prints!

As I mentioned before, you can customize the scale and color way of patterns on Spoonflower simply by messaging the designer. So if you see a pattern you love but it’s not quite the right scale or doesn’t work with your color scheme, you can customize it to make it work for your space! This is one my favorite features!
The best way to keep track of your favorite designers and favorite patterns is to create an account. It’s totally free, and very similar to having an account on Etsy. It allows you to “heart” patterns you like and as well as follow your favorite designers. That way when you come back to the site for different projects you have a good place to start narrowing down your options.
If you’re brand new to perusing Spoonflower, I highly recommend checking out the Curated Themes under the Fabric tab on the homepage. There you’ll find curated collections of some of their best selling patterns.

Last, Spoonflower’s instagram account offers loads of design and project inspiration, plus it’s an easy way to get updated on special promotions and sales. In addition most pattern designers on Spoonflower also have instagram accounts where you can see their patterns used in many different applications, from homes to craft projects. I follow all of my favorites on the ‘gram ~ Peacoquette, Danika Herrick, Domesticate, Patricia Braune, Holli Zollinger, Julia Schumacher
I hope this helps you to better navigate the Spoonflower website! If you get addicted to perusing their site, don’t blame me! 😉 Do you have any favorite designers on Spoonflower?
Wow! Thanks for doing the legwork on this! I’ve been looking for fabric for pillows for our sofa in our new house! Danika’s site is my favorite!
