New Year New Room Refresh Challenge – 2022 – En Suite Bathroom Hallway Before & Design Plans

Hello friends! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. We definitely had a nice, relaxing Christmas break. And while I enjoyed sleeping in late and lounging in comfies all day, I’m ready to get back into a normal routine. So I couldn’t be more excited to once again be kicking off the year by participating in the New Year New Room Refresh Challenge! It’s hard to believe that this is my third year participating in this January design challenge that was dreamed up by Stephanie from Casa Watkins Living.

Last year, I refreshed our entry foyer.

And the year before last, I tackled our laundry room.

This year, I’ve decided to tackle our en suite bathroom hallway. This blank canvas of a hallway connects our bedroom and bathroom, and I’ve dreamed of giving it a little love via box molding since we moved in over two years ago.

This is my plan of attack.

I think a black ceiling is really going to make these gorgeous marble flush mounts pop….

….but I’m most excited about bringing in some floor-to-ceiling box molding (like what we have in the office/guest bedroom). However, it has been a little while since I’ve taken on a molding project…..so, I’m glad I’ve got a month to get this done. 😉 Wish me luck!
